Justin DiMaio is a growth-mindset tennis coach known for his ability to nurture talent and inspire a passion for the game. With nearly two decades of experience in coaching and program management, Coach Justin has dedicated his career to optimizing athletic performance while prioritizing client satisfaction and community connection.
In his previous position as the Director of Racquets at The Moorings Yacht & Country Club in Vero Beach, Florida, Coach Justin revolutionized the tennis and pickleball experience for members. By implementing cutting-edge coaching programs and enhancing the facility’s amenities, he led a team of nine professionals to boost participation across all racquet sports. His strategic focus on personalized lessons and engaging clinics resulted in impressive growth in both private lessons, clinic, and event revenues.
Before that, as the Director of Tennis at Sunrise Tennis Club, Coach Justin developed a comprehensive curriculum tailored for players of all levels. His leadership not only doubled club membership in just three years but also positioned the club as a premier venue for competitive events, including the nation’s largest college tennis showcase, numerous pro circuit events, and a Davis Cup Event. As co-founder and Academy Director of Sunrise Tennis Academy, he played a pivotal role in securing over 30 college tennis scholarships and mentoring multiple ATP and WTA tour players.
Beyond coaching, Justin DiMaio has been instrumental in organizing major tennis events, including serving as Tournament Director for 11 Pro Circuit events and as Executive Director of the Hosting Committee for the historic 2014 Davis Cup World Group Playoff between Israel and Argentina, a significant milestone in tennis, becoming the first event of its nature to be played outside of both home countries.
